This is a review of the restaurant. The food was good, but it does have room for a lot of improvement. The steak was medium and we asked 3/4. The corn tortillas tasted like old and they didn't have flour tortillas. I would recommend trying it and see if the place is your taste. I would come back once more to try something else. The deserts are on point, delicious.
Lovely location and truly nice hotel. It is pretty and immaculate. My only suggestion is in room convenience. There isn't one drawer to store things . The little closet is fine but small and has no shelf. If you're staying for more than a weekend it is truly an issue.

Fantastic location. Enjoyed our stay. The staff were great. The rooms are a bit spartan, but very clean and comfortable. However, If the other guests are noisy you will hear them !! The restaurant and foyer are excellent. Well worth it to be so near the plaza.
This is just our review of the restaurant, since we didn't stay in the hotel. The breakfast is limited, but still has many delicious options on it. The waiting staff was professional and gave us excellent service. Our brunch was excellent, as was the cappuccino and fresh squeezed orange juice. My bowl of birria and toritillas was exceptionally good, as was my wife's corn pancakes topped with mixed fruit. The prices are a very good value IMHO. We love the relaxing atmosphere in the enclosed terrace and wood slab finished tabletops. We'll definitely be returning soon!
We only visited the restaurant. The staff were very good and the building and setting is beautiful. They serve 1 L Margaritas in a foam cup which is weird, maybe for take away. As mentioned by others their grilled squid was amazing. Their tortilla soup was only warm instead of hot but tasty.
Updated restaurant review three years later. The menu changed slightly but still a delicious and beautiful presentation. Waiting staff was professional and very fiendly. We will definitely go again. We went for brunch twice, and each time, the food was excellent and a very good value. The atmosphere was relaxing and the service was very good. .
I enjoyed the 《secret-hidden-tour》 at Raices de mar from our fabulous server Pancho! Will come back for a special drink! Cappuccino was lovely, atmosphere exquisite!
